Tras haber presentado en un articulo anterior los antecedentes y los contenidos basicos del Acuerdo Transatlantico de Comercio e Inversiones (TTIP, por sus siglas inglesas), en esta segunda parte se analizan las perspectivas de futuro. Se analiza su efecto en diversas areas geograficas y en varios sectores socio-economicos, asi como su significado geopolitico. Despues se exponen los diversos modelos anglosajon y europeo, y se argumenta que ambos deben adaptarse para lograr una autentica competencia en un mundo global. El tortuoso y muy reciente camino para la aprobacion del Acuerdo Global de Economia y Comercio entre Canada y la Union Europea (CETA, segun sus siglas inglesas), muestra la complejidad y la relevancia del asunto.
