Cet article aborde la question des crimes sexuels sur internet (accès, possession, distribution de pornographie juvénile, leurre informatique) de même que la question souvent posée à savoir si les auteurs de tels crimes sont aussi des agresseurs sexuels actifs ou des agresseurs sexuels potentiels. Les caractéristiques distinguant les auteurs de crimes sexuels sur internet des auteurs d’agressions sexuelles avec contact seront précisées de même que les facteurs de risque associés aux abus sexuels avec contact. Les mécanismes par lesquels les consommateurs de pornographie juvénile peuvent en venir à commettre des agressions sexuelles avec contact seront présentés. Des pistes d’intervention s’adressant aux auteurs de crimes sexuels sur internet seront proposées.
