Abstract
Si l’informatique provoque aujourd’hui une série de phantasmes qui vont du catastrophique à l’expérience de reconversion professionnelle pour le public des classes moyennes, ces phantasmes sont propices à l’organisation d’un marché de la formation où une multitude d’organismes privés pratiquent des prix élevés et des formations limitées au seul apprentissage d’un savoir-faire. Interpellées par ce nouveau marché, les organisations d’éducation permanente se doivent de trouver une réponse alternative centrée sur une démystification de l’outil informatique et sur le sens à donner à une informatisation de la société. Après l’évaluation d’une première expérience marquée par un succès certain, les promoteurs du projet réaffirment leur volonté de développer une action avec le mouvement syndical en vue d’accroître la capacité de celui-ci à évaluer l’impact et les formes que prend l’implantation de l’informatique dans les entreprises.
