Abstract

As mídias sociais representam uma das aplicações das tecnologias de informação e comunicação mais impactantes nas sociedades atuais. Possibilitam a troca de conteúdos, interações e colaborações nas mais diversas áreas e grande potencial no que tange às possibilidades para as ações de marketing empresariais. Nove empresas foram selecionadas com base nos maiores investimentos em marketing digital no ano de 2014 e suas postagens no Facebook foram analisadas com base na teoria da presença social. Os resultados mostram a proeminência da categoria Coesiva, bem como a confrontação dos conteúdos textuais e imagéticos. Em suma, a presença e atuação nessas mídias pelas empresas selecionadas indica sua importância.
