Abstract
L’article examine le recours rhétorique à la fonction d’avocat par les professionnels des relations publiques. Il montre que ce discours s’insère dans un contexte de communication sensible qui entre en contradiction avec la posture générale des relations publiques. L’auteur observe que si certains éléments peuvent légitimer cette comparaison entre les deux fonctions, les divergences prédominent et rendent peu crédible le rapprochement de la posture de l’avocat et du professionnel des relations publiques.
