Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

High correlation coefficients between population indexes of adults of Melanoplus mexicanus mexicanus (Sauss) in various areas of Saskatchewan in the years 1943 to 1952 and records of weather factors in the same areas up to 14 months earlier suggest causal relationships The most critical months were June, August, and September of the previous year and June of the current year, the periods of hatching, nymphal development, oviposition, and hatching July was the least important of the summer months Temperature, especially daily minima, influenced later populations more than any other weather factor, during the previous June and August, and daily maxima during the previous August and the current June Sunshine was important during August and especially September. Correlation with rainfall during the previous August and September was high and negative. Evaporation showed erratic correlation.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
