Abstract
Practitioners from the 'World's Most Liveable Cities' communed to exchange industry intelligence and experiences from the coal face when international urbanism consultant Brent Toderian from Vancouver came to Melbourne last month. At the master class coordinated through PIA (Vic), themed Density Done Well, the attendees were amused when Toderian related the lament from Canadian urban density protestors that if Vancouver did not do density right, their city will suffer the ultimate indignity - they would be beaten by Melbourne in the international liveability stakes.
