Abstract
El artículo trata sobre el programa de alimenta publica (fundaciones alimentarias) establecido por la Administración romana en tiempos del emperador Trajano (siglo ii d. C.) para proveer de un sustento básico a los niños de amplias regiones italianas. Para ello se sujetaban fincas rústicas a un gravamen para el pago de una renta alimenticia básica a niños de familias humildes. La tabula de los ligures baebiani es una fuente epigráfica que contiene la constitución de una fundación alimentaria de época de Trajano, en el sur de Italia, cerca de la actual Benevento, e información sobre los particulares que participaban en el programa y los caracteres de las fincas afectadas.
