Abstract
The present dissertation has as its object of study the album "Plnio Marcos em Prosa e samba, com Geraldo Filme, Zeca da Casa Verde e Toniquinho Batuqueiro", recorded in 1974 by the Chantecler studio. The research's goal is to understand the process through which those four artists have created a historical narrative about the samba in So Paulo.
