Abstract
Sur le modèle d’une organisation, un système social peut être considéré comme un jeu de coopération défini par des règles spécifiques. Sur le modèle des relations de travail, les règles du jeu peuvent être considérées comme reposant à la fois sur la contrainte et sur le consentement, et comme le produit de deux sources de régulation — régulation autonome et régulation de contrôle — dont la rencontre a la forme d’une quasi-négociation et aboutit à une régulation conjointe, compromis toujours révisable plutôt que consensus définitif. L’institutionnalisation des règles et la création d’un tiers-garant changent la nature de la négociation, mais ne suppriment pas celle-ci.
