Abstract
La presente investigacion tiene por objetivo examinar como las negociaciones entre Estados Unidos y Cuba, llevadas a cabo en el periodo 2013-2015, lograron el establecimiento de un nuevo enfoque en las relaciones bilaterales de los dos paises. De este modo, se pretende utilizar la Teoria de la Transformacion, Mediacion y Negociacion de Conflictos para demostrar que tanto la transformacion del conflicto entre Estados Unidos y Cuba como la mediacion del Papa Francisco y Canada dieron paso a un proceso de negociacion entre los dos paises, que desemboco en un acercamiento que abre las perspectivas hacia el establecimiento de un nuevo enfoque en sus relaciones bilaterales. Para este fin, se hara uso de entrevistas y del analisis de fuentes academicas y empiricas, que serviran como metodo principal para la recoleccion de informacion.
