Abstract
Les tablettes tactiles, par leur approche simple et leur expansion massive, pourraient être l’outil numérique échappant à un étiquetage lié aux stéréotypes genrés associant « technologies numériques » et masculin. L’analyse du discours de professeur.e.s des écoles sur leurs représentations et leurs pratiques en classe révèlent une pensée essentialiste et une adhésion aux stéréotypes déjà à l’oeuvre, reproduisant une hiérarchie sexuée à l’école primaire, avec plus d’hommes concernés par les tablettes et des représentations différenciées entre « observation » pour les femmes et « action » pour les hommes. Cette recherche confirme la nécessité de penser la formation initiale et continue des enseignant.e.s quant aux stéréotypes genrés et les processus de transmissions, pour que les problématiques translittéraciques en plein essor ne soient pas marquées par deux pensées essentialistes majeures que sont le sexe et l’âge.
