Abstract
A 23GHz Front-end circuit with an on-chip integrated coupler, which is realizable in standard CMOS 0.18um process is proposed in this paper. The integrated coupler provides an alternative to bond wire connection between the antenna and the front-end. The LNA provides a gain of 17dB and noise figure of 5.8 dB. The mixer is optimized for maximum linearity and has an input referred 1dB compression point of +10dBm and a 3rdorder intercept point of 16dBm with conversion gain of 3dBm.
