Abstract
Cet article propose une étude de Jackie d’Elfriede Jelinek, mise en scène par Denis Marleau et Stéphanie Jasmin (Espace Go, 2011). Le spectacle recourait à la vidéo en direct et à l’amplification sonore comme moyens médiatiques de performer ce soliloque, en faisant écho aux propos de Jelinek : le texte montre justement les processus par lesquels la figure de Jackie Kennedy a été déterminée, modelée, voire capturée, par les différents dispositifs qui ont fait d’elle une icône médiatique. La performativité du soliloque réside ici dans l’omniprésence de l’appareil technique qui contraste avec la retenue du jeu de l’actrice. La mise en scène montre, en la démontant, la relation entre l’individu et les dispositifs qui le captent et le saisissent, en opérant par le fait même un processus de « désubjectivation » (Agamben).
