Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

In this paper, we present a method for extracting the magnetic parameters of soft magnetic Co-based alloy (Co <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">68.25</inf> Fe <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">4.5</inf> Si <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">12.25</inf> B <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">15</inf> ) in the high frequency regime (10MHz-2GHz). The magnetic sample (as-cast ribbon) is used as the conductor of a microstrip transmission line. The real and imaginary parts of series impedance (Z) of the line obtained from input impedance measurements, and a theoretical model based on the distributed parameters and the skin effect is used to extract the bulk transversal relative permeability. The effect of changing the applied external DC magnetic field is reported and the results show that the real parts of Z and propagation constant (γ) are very sensitive to the applied DC magnetic field. The model considers the geometrical contribution of the transmission line on the series impedance of the magnetic conductor (Co-based ribbon). In this work, we assume a real permeability, however the model can be readily used for extracting a complex transversal relative permeability (μ′ <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">tr</inf> –jμ″ <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">tr</inf> ).

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
