La capacite d'utiliser et de comprendre l'information necessaire pour etre fonctionnel en societe est directement liee a la probabilite a occuper un emploi qualifie et remunerateur. Au Canada, des etudes montrent que malgre un niveau de scolarite plus eleve, les immigrants presentent un niveau de litteratie generalement inferieur a celui des non-immigrants. L'objectif de cette recherche est de cerner les facteurs qui determinent le niveau de competence en traitement de l'information textuelle (niveau de litteratie) en francais des quebecois âges de 16 a 65 ans. Pour ce faire, nous analysons les donnees des repondants quebecois au questionnaire francais du Programme pour l'evaluation internationale des competences des adultes (PEICA) de 2012. - Tire du doc.
