No Canadian affiliation. An affiliation-only frame, the usual design, would never have seen this work. It is one of the works that make the case for inverting the frame.

Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Currently, there is an intensification of the urbanization process in the world, which is manifested not only in increasing of the proportion of people living in cities, but also in expanding of the cities’ impact on all sides of social, political and economic life of the country. This article considers in detail the most urbanized part of Canada – Quebec City – Winsor corridor, its dynamics and the main binders – agglomerations. The author’s uniformity coefficient reflecting the qualitative differences of urban settlements of the area was used for the characterization of urbanization within the corridor. When analyzing the infrastructure component is taken into account: the main highways, air traffic and transport hubs. The result of this research is the selection of not only developed areas but also less urbanized within the dimensional corridor Quebec Windsor and their development at the beginning of the XXI century.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
