Abstract
Communication mediated by mobile devices is one of the most dynamic sectors of the/nglobal economy and is transforming many aspects of our social lives, including ways of/nrelating to each other and our production, distribution and consumption of cultural/nartifacts. We examine these transformations of mobile communications from a media/necology perspective by applying McLuhan’s Laws of Media. We also propose a research/nagenda for studying mobile communications.
