Abstract
Interesting developments regarding the development and recognition of the rights of aboriginal peoples continue to emanate out of Canada. I have pointed out such previous developments in The American Indian and tribal law: lessons for South Africa (2003 TSAR 160); Aboriginal rights and self-determination (1998 TSAR 788) and International law and indigenous land rights: further lessons for South Africa (2005 TSAR 384).
