Abstract
Le Mythe des Races ou des Âges chez Hésiode répond à une logique exprimant le lien entre mythe (Or, Argent, Bronze) et histoire (Époque héroïque, Âge du Fer I et II). Le lien entre les deux moitiés peut s’exprimer par cette équation: Or: Bronze = Héros: Fer II, ou 1: 3 = 4: 6. On peut aussi illustrer cette formule par un graphique où le modèle d’une vague est employé pour représenter l’univers en expansion et en contraction de l’astronomie contemporaine.
