Abstract
Cet article met en relief les implications sociales de l’amitié à l’intérieur des sociétés développées. L’auteure commence par exposer la vision prédominante de l’amitié moderne, relation personnelle, volontaire et privée. Elle explore sommairement les développements et les modèles de cette vision dans le temps et dans l’espace, en critique les bases et en fait ressortir les manques. Dans un deuxième temps, elle met l’accent sur les rapports entre l’amitié et la dynamique sociale. Un survol des études réalisées en Espagne sur ce sujet permet de réinsérer l’interaction amicale dans les processus sociaux plus larges, et fait ressortir les effets de ce type de relation au plan collectif.
