Abstract
En dépit du fait que des enquêtes sur le climat scolaire documentent depuis 1990 la présence d’homophobie et ses impacts négatifs, peu d’attention a été accordée à la manière dont l’école reproduit des normes d’hétérosexualité et de conformité aux attentes genrées. L’analyse des pratiques liées à la diversité sexuelle des enseignants du secondaire suggère que ces derniers peuvent jouer un rôle dans la reconduction ou dans la contestation de ces normes. Nous suggérons que la pleine inclusion scolaire des personnes LGBTI nécessite de considérer la complicité de l’école dans la perpétuation de normes liées au genre et à l’orientation sexuelle.
