PRATIQUES TRANSLITTÉRACIQUES DES JEUNES : GENRE ET CRÉATION HYBRIDE/MULTIMODALE

Abstract
Dans cet article, nous nous intéressons à la place du genre dans les pratiques translittéraciques informelles des jeunes. Nous examinons la réception/création de productions culturelles par des adolescentes et des adolescents à l’aide de la métaphore du mixage de cultures et des concepts d’hybridation et de multimodalité. Notre objectif est de répertorier et d’analyser les pratiques de création de ces jeunes en tenant compte de l’identification ou non à un genre. Pour cela, nous avons procédé à une enquête auprès de 200 adolescents et à une étude de cas. Les résultats préliminaires démontrent que les intérêts, les pratiques et les compétences des jeunes s’insèrent et se modulent dans une série de continuums. Nous concluons sur la nécessité de penser également le genre comme une continuité sur une échelle de valeurs graduée plutôt qu’une polarité entre deux états opposés, tout en cernant le statut de création des productions culturelles des jeunes.
