Abstract
The theological importance of the relationship between Moses and Jesus, studied on the gospel of John, is showed in the three following fields, which determine the structure of the present study. The first one makes reference to the interreligious dialogue: it would in any way favour the dialogue between Christians and Jews the consideration of Jesus as the Moses? The second one makes reference to biblical hermeneutics. Jesus as the Moses takes for granted the consideration of the Bible as a single book center around Jesus Christ. And the third one sprouts from the consideration of the nature of biblical theology. This one asks itself on the possibility and convenience of establishing a systematization center for the Old and the New Testament. Jesus as the new Moses would not only constitute a fundamental subject for biblical theology, but it will also become a possible point for establishing the relationship between both Testaments.
