Abstract
Dans un numéro de la revuePolitiqueconsacré à l’évolution de la discipline au Québec, un auteur notait que les articles réunis à cette occasion ne recouvraient pas tous les champs de la science politique québécoise (Landry, 1993: 7–19). La théorie politique, comprise au sens large du terme, avait notamment été délaissée au profit d’études sur les politiques publiques et les institutions. Or, à l'instar de leurs collègues ailleurs au pays, les politologues québécois ont pourtant réfléchi aux questions politiques en y apportant un regard théorique ancré dans une réalité sociale particulière différente de celle prévalant au Canada anglais. Désireux de mieux comprendre l’évolution de leur société, des politologues ont privilégié quelques objets d'analyse dont celui de l’État et de la nature des idéologies politiques québécoises.
