Dans son livre L’éthique clinique : pour une approche relationnelle dans les soins , Hubert Doucet propose une approche de l’éthique clinique qui intègre diverses perspectives théoriques et pratiques, notamment celle du philosophe Paul Ricoeur. Il développe un argumentaire pour une vision relationnelle de la pratique de l’éthique clinique, une éthique des soignants qui, selon ses mots, « doit se construire à partir de l’expérience de la maladie et s’adapter à la personne malade ».
