Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The clash between home and away, here and elsewhere, which is central to Mark Twain's writings, has inspired three recent books. One looks at the importance of home in Twain's life and the theme of domesticity in his writings. Conversely, another examines Twain's overseas travel, emphasizing its significance to both his literary career and his family life. Continuing with the international theme, a third book studies how China and the Chinese figure in Twain's writings and how his works continue to reverberate in China today.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
