Abstract
Quel est cet entre-deux issu des croisements culturels, double negation des modeles stables, le ni-ni, le metis, le sans style ? Les interactions entre savant et populaire, minoritaire ou colonise et dominant dans differents contextes, sont ici abordees dans la reciprocite de la circulation et dans les temps longs. L’espace-temps de l’entre-deux se refere aux fabrications, creations, renouvellement des savoir-faire a l’œuvre en matiere d’habitat dans l’acculturation, ainsi qu’aux formes et aux pratiques qui en resultent. A partir de plusieurs enquetes, l’analyse s’appuie sur des ” passeurs ” de culture contemporains tels que les immigres ; elle s’appuie egalement sur des travaux sociologiques et historiques portant sur des epoques privilegiees de mise en contact des cultures lors de l’expansion europeenne, de l’essor du commerce maritime et de la conquete du Nouveau Monde.
