Abstract
Le présent article traite tout particulièrement du lien entre père et fils présenté dans les pièces Le vrai monde? (1987) de Michel Tremblay et Le Chien (1988) de Jean Marc Dalpé. Bien que traitant tous deux le thème de l'incommunicabilité et du conflit des générations au sein d'une famille francophone canadienne, chacun des auteurs a créé une réalité à part en introduisant la figure de l'artiste ou du rêveur, qui impose une autre façon de communiquer à travers le langage de l'art. Ainsi ces deux textes se distinguent-ils également par leur refus du théâtre réaliste et psychologique.
