Abstract
Le 25 janvier marque le début d’un processus révolutionnaire car il ne met pas simplement un terme au règne du clan Moubarak : il est l’indice d’une transformation des valeurs et des normes. La communautarisation sociale, solidaire des politiques identitaires, est critiquée et renforcée au cours de l’actuelle phase de transition, caractérisée par le foisonnement des antagonismes et l’irruption de la pluralité. Tandis que le patriarche Chenouda III soutint le régime jusqu’à son dernier souffle, des militants coptes s’engagèrent dans l’action révolutionnaire. Nombre d’entre eux avaient contribué à l’essor de la culture protestataire égyptienne en général et à la critique des logiques identitaires entérinant discriminations et communautarisation sociale. Cependant, la sortie de l’idéologie nationaliste et le déclin de l’idéal national, qui pourraient ouvrir la voie à la rupture de la logique identitaire, semblent pour l’heure ne pas interdire sa reconduction selon des modalités inédites et, en particulier, renforcer les communautarismes transnationaux.
