Abstract
Trois monographies descriptives sur la situation de pauvreté que vivent tout particulièrement certaines couches de la population au Québec sont rassemblées ici. Les conditions de vie des personnes vivant de l’aide sociale, des personnes âgées et des jeunes sont abordées et analysées. Les textes mettent en relief le contexte socio-économique et politique de la période d’après-crise dans lequel ces couches sociales font l’objet de mesures spéciales qui menacent leur survie et contribuent à accroître leurs difficultés financières.
