L’Epargne Chez les Ouvriers Migrants des Entreprises de la Zone Industrielle de Yopougon (Côte d’Ivoire)

Abstract
Cet article analyse les logiques sociales qui sous-tendent la primaute de l’epargne sur les depenses de consommation dites primaires chez les ouvriers migrants des entreprises de la zone industrielle de Yopougon. Il montre, en effet, comment l’epargne des ouvriers migrants est fortement determinee par la nature et les objectifs assignes par le migrant a son projet migratoire. A ce propos, le texte demontre plus specifiquement que l’epargne est mobilisee en vue d’etre transferee aux groupes sociaux d’appartenance restes au pays. Ces envois de fonds participent d’une part, a l’amelioration du niveau de vie des groupes sociaux d’appartenance et d’autre part, a l’entretien et a la consolidation des liens sociaux dans les groupes sociaux d’appartenance du milieu d’origine.
