[orientation] Une bibliothèque publique à Montréal en 2016 est un tiers lieu dont le projet social s’inscrit dans un territoire, un quartier, une communauté. Le défi aujourd’hui consiste à imaginer une nouvelle génération de bibliothèques capables de travailler avec les citoyens. Pour faire émerger des tiers-lieu de co-création dans les bibliothèques de Montréal, différentes méthodes apparentées au design thinking ont été employées. Ces démarches intègrent de façon originale des pratiques issues du design social et on peut véritablement parler de « design du care ».
