Abstract
Cette contribution porte sur les appels d’urgence. Elle rend compte de difficultés de communication entre appelant et répondant lorsqu’une personne est déclarée morte. L’analyse, menée dans une perspective interactionniste, repose sur un corpus d’appels au service 9-1-1. Elle décrit la résistance de l’appelant aux demandes et aux consignes du répondant dans cette situation. Ce désalignement interactionnel est associé à la standardisation du traitement de l’appel enseignée au répondant. En conclusion, il est avancé que l’intégration de quelques éléments d’analyse des interactions à la formation du répondant lui permettrait d’obtenir une meilleure coopération de l’appelant en toute circonstance.
