Abstract
This study explores the concept of time in the work oflibrarians who provide reference service. Usingprimary data from two phenomenological studies ofthe work experience of academic librarians, the studyre-examines the data to focus on the experience oftime in reference and information service and in thebroader context of work life.Cette étude explore la notion de temps dans le travaildes bibliothécaires qui fournissent des services deréférence. En utilisant les données primairesprovenant de deux études phénoménologiques del’expérience de travail des bibliothécairesuniversitaires, l’étude réexamine les données et seconcentre sur l’expérience du temps dans un servicede référence et d’information et dans le contexte pluslarge de la vie au travail.
