Abstract
Il faut lire la présentation de ce dossier en référence à l’article précédent de M. Sénécal. Le domaine de la radio communautaire constitue un bon exemple de l’articulation des entreprises autonomes et des interventions de l’État. L’article rapporte tout d’abord l’expérience d’une radio de quartier à Montréal axée sur une volonté de prise en charge « populaire » de ce média. C’est ensuite l’action de l’Association des radios communautaires du Québec qui est rapportée, ainsi que le discours d’un agent gouvernemental de développement des radios. Ces deux témoignages, même s’ils sont prononcés à partir de « lieux » officiellement différents, frappent par leur grande similitude. Enfin l’article s’intéresse au discours gouvernemental à propos des radios, caractérisé par une volonté politique de participation sociale et de développement de l’identité québécoise, là où le projet nationaliste cherche à rejoindre... les communautés.
