Abstract
Face à leurs pratiques d’intervention sur la clientèle haïtienne de la diaspora, les intervenants noirs s’interrogent. Un point sur lequel se dessine un consensus est l’échec des modèles d’intervention à l’occidentale sur ce type de clientèle. L’auteur souligne le rôle du Vaudou haïtien dans la constitution de réseaux parallèles de soins où les pauvres, les opprimés recherchent d’autres modes de solution à leurs problèmes psychologiques que ceux qui leur sont fournis par la psychiatrie traditionnelle.
