Abstract
Este artículo de reflexión sintetiza el trabajo de configuración teórica del macroproyecto sobre promoción y divulgación de los derechos del consumidor que se desarrolla en el Caribe colombiano a través del Programa Consuma Caribe, que realiza análisis del impacto y pedagogía social en torno a los derechos del consumidor del nuevo estatuto jurídico sobre el consumo. Se analiza con metodologías de la hermenéutica jurídica y socio-jurídica el contexto global que posibilita entender la progresiva huida del derecho público al derecho privado. Así mismo, se busca comprender el poder imparable de la penetración de la racionalización instrumental, propia de la macdonalización de la sociedad, en las lógicas jurídicas de la defensa de la esfera pública.
