Abstract
Les origines des Wereldscholen (Écoles mondiales) remontent à la décision de groupes de militants du mouvement ouvrier, du mouvement étudiant et du mouvement Tiers-monde, à la fin des années ’60, de partager leurs expériences et de rechercher les possibilités de susciter une nouvelle conscience critique. Wereldscholen a débuté comme une alternative d’école. Des groupes sont constitués qui se réunissent régulièrement dans des cycles de formation. Il s’agit d’un travail de conscientisation à partir des problèmes concrets de l’environnement, de l’école, des immigrés, des vieillards, des jeunes, de la reconversion économique, de l’exploitation du Tiers-monde. Le mouvement se définit comme mouvement politique. Il est doté d’un journal et organise de nombreuses sessions de formation.
