Abstract
L’auteur ébauche une méthode d’analyse et d’intervention « socio-historique » en Travail social qui tente d’expliciter l’enjeu social des situations auxquelles les pratiques sont confrontées. Le « social » y est défini comme l’articulation concrète d’aspects économiques, politiques et idéologiques. Il est non seulement « contexte » mais aussi dimension intime du désir, et le désir, une dimension toujours présente dans le « social ». La « subjectivité » est traversée de modèles sociaux, il n’y a nulle « affectivité » qui ne soit structurée par des normes sociales. L’article propose de nouveaux outils d’analyse pour le Travail social, indique des pistes pratiques pour orienter l’action et expose les éléments d’une intervention concrète : la situation « Mercier ».
