Abstract
O artigo apresenta uma análise crítica da documentação governamental quebequense relativa ao ensino das ciências humanas e sociais no primário (o trabalho docente prescrito ou a prática de ensino prescrita). Esta análise coloca em evidência algumas das mais significativas rupturas entre as orientações atuais e aquelas em vigor durante os anos 1980 e 1990, mas também e sobretudo, as incoerências e ambiguidades subjacentes às diretrizes curriculares e aos regulamentos governamentais suscetíveis de gerar diferentes leituras e interpretações em termos de parâmetros devendo estruturar a intervenção educativa nesta disciplina.
