Abstract
Ce texte émane de trois membres du comité suisse de rédaction de la revue confrontés au « champ social », l’un comme formateur de travailleurs sociaux, l’autre comme travailleur social praticien, le dernier comme sociologue. Ils s’interrogent sur les conditions de possibilité d’une recherche-action entre travailleurs sociaux et sociologues. A. Sauvin insiste sur les conditions concrètes de collaboration : gestion du temps, exigences de l’écriture, poids des structures institutionnelles. D. Dind s’interroge sur l’articulation entre praticiens et théoriciens, constituant en « collectif intellectuel organique ». Il illustre sa réflexion par une histoire de cas : la mise en place d’une démarche d’action et d’information sociale à Genève. M. Vuille prône la création d’un « espace d’autonomie » dans les organisations dont nous avons intériorisé les contraintes et les limites. La condition sine qua non pour conduire une recherche-action est de créer cet espace où les rapports entre les chercheurs et les praticiens se construisent hors des règles de fonctionnement de leurs organisations respectives. La recherche-action implique une décentration que seule la création d’un « réseau » peut permettre, dans lequel le savoir et l’action deviennent autogérables.
