Présentation sommaire des résultats obtenus lors des deux campagnes de prospection, menées par une mission syro-canadienne en 2004 et en 2006, d’une portion de la moyenne vallée de l’Oronte, la vallée du Ghab. Après un rappel des explorations antérieures et la justification de la présente prospection, quelques sites représentatifs des périodes du Bronze ancien et du Bronze moyen, du Bronze récent (le problème de datation des sites de cette période pour la région concernée est évoqué), des âges du Fer (période au cours de laquelle la vallée aurait été la plus intensément occupée), des périodes dites « classiques » et même « récentes » (islamique et ottomane). Certains des sites les plus représentatifs font l’objet ici d’une courte description illustrée et des cartes de distribution des sites par période sont présentées.
