Abstract
La mise sur pied du groupe Solidarité-psychiatrie, projet autonome orienté et géré par ses membres, guidé par des balises psychanalytiques et fondé sur l’idée d’« institution éclatée » est une recherche d’alternative au traitement de la souffrance mentale par l’institution psychiatrique. Il regroupe des personnes désireuses de constituer un réseau où l’entraide côtoie la recherche et où la folie est envisagée sous ses angles psychologiques, socio-économiques et culturels. Solidarité-psychiatrie représente pour ses membres une manière de prendre sa folie en main, un réseau de vie où l’on utilise les éléments curatifs de la vie quotidienne pour en arriver à un mieux-être individuel et collectif. Il est aussi un collectif qui dénonce les faiblesses, irrégularités et injustices des « traitements » psychiatriques.
