05. La línea editorial como estrategia de demarcación de zonas periodísticas. El caso de un diario conservador de Jujuy (Argentina)

Abstract
Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar e caracterizar o processo de constituição de uma linha editorial de um meio impresso conservador de San Salvador de Jujuy (Argentina) bem como o uso que se faz dela para a demarcação de zonas jornalísticas ‘vermelhas’ e ‘verdes’ (Arrueta, 2010), com o propósito de tematizar fatos de relevância pública. Metodologicamente, trabalhou-se com o diário Pregón, fundado no Estado de Jujuy em 24 de janeiro de 1956. Foram realizadas entrevistas em profundidade com jornalistas do veículo além de realização de observação participante na Redação, com ênfase em períodos considerados críticos para o exercício jornalístico. Em termos gerais, é possível afirmar que a constituição de uma linha editorial está vinculada com restrições de ordem interinstitucional e intrainstitucional. Estas restrições, que se constituem na própria matriz historiográfica da empresa jornalística, determinam (cultural e pragmaticamente) campos permitidos (zonas verdes) e não permitidos (zonas vermelhas) de atuação jornalística. Essa delimitação infere marcos de interpretação do mundo, em virtude de valores ligados ao espaço e ao poder simbólico que o jornal confere a si mesmo no campo local de relações. E também em decorrência da identificação de áreas de conflito e de tensão que devem ser evitadas pela defesa de interesses da empresa jornalística. A linha editorial como estratégia de delimitação de zonas jornalísticas pode ser entendida, então, como prática reguladora de marcos instituídos dinâmicos de visibilidade e invisibilidade de conteúdos jornalísticos.
