Un groupe de chercheurs mène une expérience de recherche-action avec des militants retraités. Au cours du processus de recherche-action les groupes militants contactés, appartenant à des obédiences politiques et syndicales diverses, s’unissent et imposent à leurs organisations des stratégies nouvelles pour la défense des retraités. Le groupe de chercheurs et de militants oriente ensuite son action vers les populations concernées et organise des pressions auprès du ministère compétent. Le texte présente l’évolution du groupe et propose quelques réflexions stratégiques et méthodologiques en situant son approche parmi les courants d’intervention sociologique actuels.
