Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

At 140 km from Mexico City, the village of Valle de Bravo shelters a stopping which represents the origins of the Mexican hydroelectricity, largely forgotten today. Although small hydroelectric stations existed in the country since 1883, the supply of Mexico City was taken over in 1905 by a Canadian company. This one, developing itself in a monopoly situation, was unaware of the not very profitable rural regions in the establishment of its network, leading to waves of protest. After the revolution (1910-1920), a project implying the co-operation of the workers, the government and the users was founded. Electrical energy was nationalized in 1937, leading to the introduction of a commission which launched the construction of the installations of Valle de Bravo. The reserve of the stopping was finished in 1944, and the last of the five power plants of the system was inaugurated in 1957. In 1976, the energy production was abandoned in favor to the adduction of water towards Mexico City, leaving electrical installations in the lapse of memory. Tourists as inhabitants are currently unaware of this heritage, threatened of destruction, when it is not plundered in order to reemploy materials. It would thus be advisable to give again a better visibility to this heritage.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
