Abstract
Sans chercher à condamner en bloc, ni le système mondial dans lequel nous vivons, ni toute action ou même politique d’intégration culturelle, l’auteur, dans une première partie, cherche 1) à prendre conscience, un peu plus, de la nature du système (humanisme, norme mondiale, mégamachine), 2) de son caractère intégrationniste incompatible avec les cultures, 3) à partir d’un exemple pris du domaine politique : l’État-nation moderne. Dans une seconde partie, il examine 1) ce que l’on peut faire devant un tel état de choses : comment s’émanciper d’un système politique intégrationniste, tout en étant, forcément, à l’intérieur de lui, 2) en ayant soin de l’illustrer par quelques exemples bien concrets, pris de la pratique politique du Centre Interculturel Monchanin de Montréal.
