Abstract
Les libellules (Insecta : Odonata) ont été inventoriées dans la tourbière minérotrophe structurée du parc national de Frontenac, située dans la zone tempérée mixte appalachienne du Québec. Ce biotope, exceptionnel de par ses particularités écologiques et sa situation méridionale, a été échantillonné 22 fois pendant toute la période de vol des espèces, de 2014 à 2016. La collecte de centaines de spécimens adultes et d’exuvies ainsi que l’observation des signes comportementaux des adultes a permis d’établir des cotes d’abondance et un indice d’établissement des espèces. Le site abrite une communauté singulière d’au moins 52 espèces de libellules (22 communes, 11 occasionnelles et 19 accidentelles ou fortuites). L’établissement de populations a été confirmé ou demeure vraisemblable pour 33 d’entre elles. L’aire de répartition de 21 espèces répertoriées dénote une affinité nordique. Certaines populations seraient des reliques dans le contexte biogéographique de la tourbière. Notamment, la cordulie de Robert ( Somatochlora brevicincta ) n’avait encore jamais été observée au sud du fleuve Saint-Laurent. Quatre espèces en péril ou vulnérables ont été découvertes : l’aeschne pygmée ( Gomphaeschna furcilata ), la cordulie bistrée ( Williamsonia fletcheri ), la cordulie de Robert et l’elfe ( Nannothemis bella ). Trois incursions récentes au Québec ont aussi été caractérisées : l’agrion d’Anna ( Enallagma anna ), l’agrion civil ( E. civile ) et la chaleureuse ( Libellula semifasciata ).
