Abstract
Depuis le début des années deux-mille, plusieurs travaux québécois ont permis des avancées importantes en ce qui concerne l’enseignement et l’évaluation de l’oral. Des chercheurs ont proposé des modèles didactiques qui ont été élaborés et validés dans des classes du primaire et du secondaire au Québec. Cependant, le premier cycle du primaire (élèves de 6 à 8 ans) a été peu touché par ces recherches. Voilà pourquoi nous avons mené une recherche-action-formation dans une classe de 2e année du primaire (élèves de 7-8 ans). Cette contribution rend compte des principales assises théoriques sur lesquelles s’appuyer pour enseigner et évaluer l’oral lorsqu’un enseignement systématique est effectué à partir d’objets clairement définis et programmés selon des genres formels.
